things that go unnoticed

Have you ever bought something special for your home or garden and find yourself going into the room over and over again, just to look at it?  Then over time, you come to the point where you don’t even notice it anymore.

Well . . . I was laying in bed with the dog the other afternoon because he seemed quite needy, wanting some attention, and while lying there, I looked up and saw my vintage chandelier that I bought when they were all the rave.  Suddenly, I found it exquisitely beautiful and fascinating again.  So, I did what I usually always do when something fascinates me . . . I grabbed my camera.   I have found that I see everything more clearly through the lens of a camera.  This is it from the viewpoint of lying in bed.

But, it is so much prettier when examined close up.

I don’t think it needs a lot of explanation from me to describe its beauty and gentle curves, so I’ll just show it to you without narration.  Enjoy it’s romantic vibe!

I think I’ll pay more attention to it from now on.
